my VBT (preparation seminar) was wonderful. It started thursday, 1 June 2017, two days before the beginning of my Whitsun vacation and I also missed a big exam in Physics. But it was worth it! It ended Wednesday, 7 June 2017, but it was too short. I had a great time there with 29 other scholarship winners of the PPP and I made lots of new friends. We learnt many important things for our exchange year and spent our freetime with nice things like playing billiard or creating our goodbye books. I'll never forget the wonderful time I had there during this week!
Tomorrow is my first school day after my vacation but also the beginning of the last month at school in Germany. Now I cannot longer wait for getting my host family. Almost the half of the other exchange students already have their host families. But I have to wait... Yesterday I applied for my visa. My organization thinks that I will maybe fly in the US on August 10th. Now I can count my last days in Germany. It's not always easy knowing that I'm going to leave Germany, my family, my friends, my previous life soon.
